Managing a group of people can often be a daunting task. It's only with skill and patience that one succeeds in handling employees from different backgrounds and cultures. A debate still rages over who manages people better, Men or Women since both the sexes have certain unique traits that distinguish their managerial and leadership style.

Entrepreneur India caught up with Noopur Doshi, Founder, The Matchbox Cowork to know why women make better managers than men.

The unconventional, boutique co-working space aims to inspire and collaborate with various types of people of the community without losing focus on individuality. It is compact and highly accommodating at the same time.

Men vs Women - How are They Different?

"Matchbox means a lot of small matchsticks coming together. Similarly, we want men and women to ignite some amazing ideas together in our co-working space. I feel women are better managers primarily because of the fact that they are so used to multitasking. They have a lot of compassion in them. Being a time stickler, they know that a lot has to be done in life, "shared Doshi adding that people who are good managers of life and can also be competent managers at the same time.

Female-only Coworking Spaces

A lot of women around the world are making their presence felt in the co-working industry. Doshi believes women investing in co-working spaces is a fabulous idea and one must go for it.

"Many women who've been doing great jobs from their home would love to come out. A co-working space will give a great opportunity to them to come out and work in an area that is more public where they can interact with others and pursue their dreams," added Doshi.

India is slowly witnessing the growth of female-only co-working spaces in metro cities. Doshi emphasized that having more coworking spaces for women will bring out many more women from their home to work at their own convenience.

"I definitely think a lot more coworking spaces for women are required. I am not just saying only women work there, of course, they will share the platform with men but having more female co-working spaces will help women come out and work," she concluded.
