You Only Need These 3 Things to Be an Entrepreneur These factors will help you achieve business success.

By Nina Zipkin

Business owners need three things to set them on their way when they are starting a new venture: leadership skills, a meticulous thought process and an entrepreneurial spirit.

1. Be a people person.

Understand what your customer wants and needs, build strong networks and make connections when you pitch your company. Be an adaptable leader that your team can look up to -- the first to arrive at the office and the last to leave.

2. Be disciplined.

An entrepreneur never stops learning: They begin by putting themselves in the consumer's shoes and work from there. A strong venture is one that is built on the foundation of customer discovery, and the thoughtful allocation of resources.

3. Be passionate.

It may take a great deal of trial and error before finding the business model that will work for you, so you have to be committed to your goal and find others who feel the same way about your vision.
