Why You Should Actually Listen to Your Procrastinator 'Demons' If you're actively avoiding a major project, your procrastination could be a signal that it's something that can move the needle for your business.

How many times have you sat down to work on a major project only to hear the calling of your inner procrastinator? "What's happening on Facebook?" "Did I put the laundry away?" "I should call a client." "I need a haircut."

And so on and so on.

If you ask sales expert and author Perry Marshall about it, he'll tell you that you should actually listen to your inner procrastinator, or "demons" as he calls them. The things you put off the most are most likely the projects you need to get to and complete immediately.

"This is a way for me to tell which projects are going to move the needle," Marshall, author of 80/20 Sales and Marketing, says in the video above. "If I don't have any procrastination 'demons' about something, that probably means it's going to flop."
