So, you want to be a YouTube star? Well, you'll need some practice.

Take it from YouTube rookie Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who launched his new channel, Seven Bucks Digital Studios, yesterday.

To kick off the launch, The Rock and YouTuber Lilly Singh take viewers through "The YouTube Factory," an imaginary world where all major YouTube videos are shot. In the video, which features YouTube sensations Markiplier, Gigi Gorgeous and Grace Helbig, to name a few, The Rock gets a taste of what this new medium has in store for him.

As he begins his YouTube career, The Rock sits down with Singh as she gives him some tips on "How To Be a YouTube Star."

From adding a thumbnail photo of his "Little Big Man" (don't get any ideas -- that's his dog's nickname) to spicing up his calls-to-action, we have no doubts he'll get it right. He's got the passion, the talent and the network.

With more than 100 million followers across social channels, The Rock is taking multimedia by storm. "Other than my family, social media is my strongest relationship," he said in a press release leading up to the launch.

The Rock has some big ideas for the channel, which is a collaboration between the production company he founded with Dany Garcia, Seven Bucks Productions, and digital entertainment network Studio71. In addition to his own videos, he plans to feature clips from other digital creators who share his goal to inspire and entertain. With monthly collaborations, popular digital stars and ongoing scripted series, he's taking YouTube to the next level.

At the beginning of the channel's first short video released this week, Singh tells The Rock: "You just created what could be one of the biggest channels on YouTube."

With the help of his prolific YouTube "teacher," take some notes on how to make your own channel come to life.
