Top business leaders achieve success through many different avenues, but here are five things that all entrepreneurs have in common, regardless of their backgrounds or areas of expertise.

1. Are laser focused. All successful entrepreneurs are determined and have a clear and defined vision of what they want their business to achieve. They constantly ask themselves what they can do to improve and know how to delegate.

2. Can jump on opportunities. Savvy business leaders can rise to the occasion when times get tight and change direction if need be.

3. Able to spot talent. The best leaders want to work with the best to help them elevate their game – smart people who can execute and aren't afraid to disagree with the boss.

4. Always learning. Self-improvement and gaining new insights and perspective can only help your business. The most effective leaders are curious and embrace constructive criticism.

5. Know how to relax. Unplugging, meditating and exercising are all ways for top entrepreneurs to recharge and get new ideas.
