Embrace the Art of What You Do and No Day Will Ever Be Boring ESPN writer and author Scoop Jackson gives advice on how to love your craft.

Opinions expressed by Entrepreneur contributors are their own.

In this video, ESPN writer and author Robert "Scoop" Jackson talks about his love of writing -- how it is an art form to him, no different from painting or music. Though he is a reporter, Jackson identifies himself largely as a writer first, or as an artist through words.

Similarly, Jackson says you can find art in all walks of life, and that loving the craft is an essential part of appreciating life. It's one reason why Jackson has some resentment about the statistical evolution of sports media -- he believes it takes some of the artistry out of sports and tries to break it down into a non-human element.

Watch the video to learn more about how to appreciate your craft.
